Palmetto Elite generally aims for no more than three athletes per coach, while the stated maximum is four. Coaches are expected to attend as many practices, tournaments and events as possible.
Each athlete should have a parent become a certified coach for safety. You do not need to be an accomplished shooter: the primary assistant-coach responsibility is shooter safety and accountability.
New coaches complete class and range training. Beginning and advanced training opportunities are offered during the season. Returning coaches should provide copies of current certifications.
