Volunteer coaches are vital to our athletes and our team's ability to grow.

A larger coaching staff helps Palmetto Elite maintain strong safety oversight, support athlete development, and share the workload among our volunteer coaches and their families.

You do not have to be an accomplished shooter to become a certified assistant coach. The primary responsibility of an assistant coach is shooter safety and accountability.

Become an Assistant Coach

Each athlete should have a parent become a certified coach for safety. You do not need to be an accomplished shooter: the primary assistant-coach responsibility is shooter safety and accountability.

New coaches complete class and range training. Beginning and advanced training opportunities are offered during the season. Returning coaches should provide copies of current certifications.
